Folders are how you keep clips organized for real. They live in the sidebar under Clips → Folders, and they nest. Folders can hold subfolders as deep as you need.
Folders in the sidebar

Create a folder

  • Click the + next to Folders in the sidebar to create a top-level folder.
  • Name it (letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, and underscores, up to 255 characters) and confirm. Folder created. Slightly less chaotic now. 📁

Create a subfolder

  • Hover a folder row and click its + button, or open its menu and choose New subfolder.
  • The new folder is created inside the one you picked.

Rename or delete a folder

Open a folder’s menu:
  • Rename: give it a new name.
  • Delete: removes the folder after a confirmation. Your clips aren’t deleted. They just leave that folder and stay available everywhere else. If the folder has subfolders, those get deleted too.

Browsing folders

Click any folder in the sidebar to see the clips inside it. A breadcrumb at the top of the page shows where you are and lets you jump back up the tree. All the filters and sorting above work inside a folder, too.

Adding clips to folders

Every clip card has a (more) button. Open it and you’ll find a Folders section:
Add to folder menu
  • Add to folder: pick a folder from the list. Folders with subfolders open a nested submenu (a waterfall); the first entry of each submenu adds the clip to that parent folder directly, so you can drop it at any level. A clip can live in as many folders as you want, and folders it’s already in are greyed out.
  • Remove from folder: lists only the folders this clip is currently in. Pick one to pull the clip out of it. The clip itself stays in your library.
The same menu also has quick actions: View on Twitch, Download Landscape, Download Portrait, and Copy URL to clipboard.

Empty folder?

If a folder has nothing in it yet, the page says so. Head back to all clips, filter down to what you want, and add them with the menu above.
