# End credits

> Roll the names from your stream when your ending scene comes up: followers, subs, gifts, Bits, raids and more.

The end credits widget thanks everyone who showed up. When your ending scene
comes on, it rolls the followers, subs, gifters, cheerers and raiders from the
stream you just did, plus a few numbers like peak viewers and how long you were
live. Nothing to type in: StreamWizard kept count while you streamed.

## Set it up

1. In the overlay editor, open **Widgets → Credits** and add **End credits**.
2. Pick a design, turn sections on or off, drag them into the order you want.
3. Add the overlay to the scene you end on in OBS, the one you switch to before
   you hit **Stop Streaming**.

That's it. The credits start on their own when that scene becomes visible.
They work whether or not **Shutdown source when not visible** is on for the
browser source. Switching away and back starts them from the top.

<Note>
The credits are for your ending scene, not a scene you sit on. Put the widget
on a scene you only switch to at the end.
</Note>

## What rolls

Every section can be turned off, renamed and moved. The pencil next to a
section opens its settings: the heading, the title and outro lines, your
thank-you note, your platforms. A section with nothing in it is skipped, so a
stream with no raids never shows an empty "Raids" heading.

| Section | What it shows |
| - | - |
| Title | One line at the top. "Thanks for watching" unless you change it. |
| Followers | Everyone who followed during the stream. |
| Subs | New subs, bought by the person themselves. |
| Resubs | Everyone who resubbed, with their month count. |
| Gifters | Who gifted subs and how many. Anonymous gifts show as one "Anonymous" line. |
| Cheerers | Who cheered and how many Bits, biggest first. Anonymous cheers roll up the same way. |
| Raids | Who raided you and how many viewers they brought. |
| Channel points | Who redeemed rewards, and how often. |
| Hype trains | How many trains ran and the top level reached. |
| Peak viewers | Your highest viewer count. |
| Stream length | How long you were live. |
| Thank-you note | Your own words, a few lines. Blank hides it. |
| Socials | Your other platforms, logo and handle: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, X, Kick, Discord, Bluesky. |
| Outro | One line at the end. "See you next stream" unless you change it. |

Under **Sections** you can also show counts in the headings ("New followers
· 12"), amounts after names ("sandwichlord · 500 Bits"), and profile pictures.
**Names per section** caps long lists; the rest become one line, "and 12 more",
which you can reword.

### Socials

Under **Sections**, turn on **Socials**, press its pencil and add a platform with your handle,
typed the way you'd say it: `@yourname`, `yourchannel`, `discord.gg/yours`.
One entry per platform, up to eight. Logos come in each brand's colour, or in
your heading colour with **Brand colours** off. **List** stacks them; **Row**
puts them side by side.

## Designs

| Design | Look | Motion |
| - | - | - |
| Classic | One centred column, movie style. | Scrolls up from the bottom. |
| Cards | One section at a time on a rounded card. | Cards slide in, one after another. |
| Ticker | A single line for the bottom of the screen. | Slides right to left. |
| Arcade | Pixel font, square border, scanlines. | Scrolls up in whole pixels. |
| Minimal | Left-aligned, no plate, quiet headings. | Scrolls up. |
| Cinematic | Letterbox bars and big type, made to fill the screen. | Slow crossfade between sections. |
| Hybrid | Film credits: hero cards for your biggest contributors, then the classic roll for everyone else. | Cards fade in and out one by one; the roll comes in under the last card. |

Picking a design resizes the widget to a size that suits it. Arcade brings its
own font and hands yours back when you pick another design.

### Hybrid: hero cards

Hybrid opens with hero cards, centred one at a time: a role line ("TOP
GIFTER", "BIGGEST RAID") with the name under it. Then the roll takes over
for everyone else. Under **Hero cards** you choose:

* **Which categories** make heroes: gifters, cheerers, raids, resubs, channel
points. Followers and new subs never do; there's no "top follower".
* **A floor per category**: 5 subs gifted, 500 Bits, 10 raid viewers, and so
  on. 0 means no floor.
* **Heroes per category**, **names per card**, how long a card **stays up**
  and how long it **fades**.

A hero is left out of that category in the roll, so nobody is thanked twice
for the same thing. They still show under any other role they had: a top
gifter who also followed is a new follower. Someone at the top of two
categories gets one card, for the first category in your section order.
Anonymous gifts and cheers never make a card. With nobody over the floor,
the cards are skipped and the roll starts straight away.

## Playback

* **Scroll speed** (Classic, Arcade, Minimal, Ticker) or **Seconds per
section** (Cards, Cinematic). Long lists get a little extra time.
* **Start delay**: the pause between the scene coming up and the first line.
* **When it ends**: play once, or loop. A scrolling design runs all the way
out of the box; Cards and Cinematic hold the last section. With loop on,
**Pause between loops** sets how long the box stays empty before the next
pass. 0 runs a scrolling design straight round in one motion.

Viewers with "reduce motion" turned on in their system see every design as a
gentle crossfade instead of a scroll.

## Testing in the editor

The canvas shows the first screen of the roll, dimmed, until you press a test
button in the widget settings:

* **Roll credits** plays the real credits from your last stream.
* **Sample data** plays a made-up stream with every section filled, so you can
judge the layout before you've streamed with the widget.
* **Stop** puts the canvas back.

These previews stay on your canvas. On stream the credits start on their own.

## Where the names come from

StreamWizard saves the events Twitch sends while you're live: follows, subs,
gifts, cheers, raids, redemptions, hype trains. The credits read that log for
the stream that's running, or the last one when you're offline. A few things
to know:

* **Someone's missing.** StreamWizard has to see your stream start before it
saves anything. Events from the first moments of a stream, or from a stream
StreamWizard didn't see start, aren't in the log.
* **Anonymous gifts and cheers** show as one "Anonymous" line per section.
* **Chatters aren't listed.** StreamWizard doesn't store chat, so there's no
  "top chatters" section.
* **Nothing shows on the canvas.** Go live once with StreamWizard connected,
or use **Sample data** to preview.
